The Aspire Awards©, an initiative of Funds in Court, are now national and recognise all Australians who identify with a disability and whose work and achievements have made a significant contribution to their profession or to community.The awards are open to anyone who is:
- 18 years of age or older
- is a resident of Australia (minimum three years)
- has demonstrated achievement at a high level that is recognised by their peers

FIC Corporate Governance Statement 2019 has been published
Corporate governance is concerned with the way in which an organisation is controlled and directed.
The Senior Master has established a robust corporate governance structure. It is intended to protect the interests of beneficiaries, minimise financial and other risks and ensure that Funds in Court is accountable to the beneficiaries and its key stakeholders.
The 2019 Corporate Governance Statement, prepared by FIC’s Manager, Corporate Governance, is now available on our website.

Senior Master’s Financial Report 2018-19
The Senior Master’s Financial Report for the year ended June 2019 has been published.
The financial reports of the Senior Master are audited, on a financial year basis, by the Auditor-General.
The published Report includes the Victorian Auditor-General’s audit opinion.

Announcement of the death of Kevin J Mahony AM
It is with great sadness that Funds in Court announces the death of Kevin John Mahony AM, the former Associate Judge who was the Senior Master.Associate Justice Mahony was instrumental in creating Funds in Court. He was much loved and respected by all who worked for him and he will be greatly missed.
Associate Justice John Efthim, Judicial Registrar Leonie Englefield, the Management and Staff of FIC extend their deepest sympathy to his family.
