1300 039 390You can open a bank account at any age. You will need to show the bank more than one form of identification, like your Birth Certificate and photo ID. Ask the bank what kind of ID they need. Also, tell the bank if you have a tax file number.

FIC will only pay funds into an account that is in your name alone, and to which you are the ‘sole signatory’ (only your signature is accepted by the bank).
