Funds in Court, as an office of the Supreme Court of Victoria, seeks to adhere to the State and national privacy regimes.

You can access the Funds in Court website home page and browse its site without disclosing personal information. Funds in Court will only collect personal information from you with your prior knowledge and consent.

Funds in Court will only use personal information provided by you for the purposes for which it was collected. The Court ensures that your personal information will not be disclosed to other State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

Funds in Court has implemented technology and security policies, rules and measures to protect the personal information that it has under its control from: unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss.

The Funds in Court Privacy Policy states that:

‘All information concerning beneficiaries is absolutely private. The Senior Master views the affairs of all beneficiaries as confidential and the protection of beneficiaries’ privacy is paramount.’

Collection of your personal information

The personal information we collect via this website includes:

We may share personal information within (Funds in Court and with third parties. The types of third parties to whom we may disclose that personal information includes: our service providers who assist us in providing this website and our products and services such as organisations who provide archival, auditing, professional advisory, banking, mailhouse, delivery, recruitment, call centre, technology, research, utility and security services. We may also disclose your personal information to third parties acting on your behalf, for example your solicitor or interpreter.

Cookies

Web Statistics Data Collection

Pages on the site may be coded with Google Analytics software. This is transparent to the user, as the software makes use of an invisible image at the bottom of the web page. This software stores a cookie in your browser, which contains a unique identifier, and sends information to Google Analytics. This enables Google Analytics to track the number of unique visitors to the site. In no way does this unique identifier identify a user personally.

We do not and will not match any data collected by Google Analytics with any personal information.
