A victim of crime is a person who has suffered physical or emotional injury, or financial loss because of a crime.

The Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) provides financial assistance to victims of crime to assist in recovery. Funds are awarded to victims of crime to cover medical and counselling services.
