Farewell Ray Chappel

Ray Chappell, Trust Officer, retired suddenly at the end of January 2013 after 12 years of service at FIC.

An opportunity came up for Ray that placed him in a position where he could retire earlier than originally expected.  Ray took advantage of this opportunity and retired with the best wishes of the Senior Master and all at FIC.

Ray has been in the trustee industry for many years, having worked at Perpetual Trusts before joining the Court.  Ray, who looks amazingly similar to Sir Richard Branson, will be missed by his colleagues and the beneficiaries whose files he administered and for whom he cared very deeply.

His sudden retirement has meant that there will be some changes in the Beneficiary Services Area.  For the present, the majority of Ray’s beneficiaries’ matters will be handled by Nicole Mitchell.
