In some cases, buying an existing home might not be possible. This could be because you need special features to meet the needs of your disability or suit your family.

The Senior Master may consider:

  • purchasing some vacant land and building a house
  • building a granny flat on an existing property for you to live in.

If you are having a house built through your funds in Court, the Senior Master’s Office will require supervision of every step, from planning through to construction and project management.

You should talk to your Client Services Officer to see if this might be an option for you.
