Selling a house

You cannot sell a property that has been bought with funds held in Court without the Senior Master’s approval.

If you want to sell your house you must speak to your Client Services Officer.

Sometimes, the Senior Master may order the sale of a property. This could be because:

  • your circumstances have changed
  • keeping the property is not in your best interest
  • you are no longer living at the property
  • there is a change in family situation.

You will be contacted if the Senior Master decides it is best to sell the property.

Moving house

You should always let your Client Services Officer know if you are moving house. It doesn’t matter if you rent or own the house.
